Biography
Ronja Krall was born in the Austrian countryside. She was raised in a small Austrian village, called Katzelsdorf, until she moved to the state of Maine at fifteen years old. Ronja went to high school at George Stevens Academy, in Blue Hill, Maine, where she graduated in 2024. After her graduation she moved to Vienna, Austria, and studied at the Kunstschule Wien for one academic year. The artist is currently studying in the Fine Arts program at the Cooper Union of Advanced Science and Art in Manhattan, New York City. Ronja is very interested in art as a tool of communication and its effects on social and environmental issues. The artist uses art both as a way to bring awareness to social and political issues as well as a way of understanding herself better. Ronja has been awarded Scholastic Art Awards as well as the Congressional Art Award for District 2 in 2024. Her award-winning piece was exhibited in the US Capitol for the duration of the year 2024. Ronja's goal is to pursue her love for art and use it as a tool to approach social and environmental issues.Â
